So, in discovering the OSRC system I became very happy that such a system is being developed.
I've been frustrated by all the medieval transmitters!

But now, a question, will you consider including HDMI out for a connecting an oculus rift for FPV?
The OSRC system is ideal for this since, if I understand correctly, we could perform FOV processing inside the FPVC? Possibly we could also transfer RGBD information from a primesense sensor (kinect-esque) and provide pseudo 3D?

Furthermore, perhaps it will be possible to create a vector-based 3d map so that long range UAV flight with detailed enviroments can be visualized. Perhaps in the future we could create a UAV 3d-scanning project so that maps could be crowd sourced using UAV mounted primesense sensors?



The possibilities are of course endless, I'm planning a flight controller daughter board for the Parallela project, to be used for 3D scanning by hobbyists and companies making 3D maps.

Point cloud data (the type of data from depth sensors) contain LOADS of data so I'm working on a vector conversion system that greatly simplifies it so it can be stored in small portable devices for various applications such as augumented reality etc.

You have some great ideas and i see no reason of not implementing them in the FPVC module since it is as simple as writing an app for Android and is completely possible.
